DESCRIPTION:
French cast brass and spelter 8 day figural mantel time piece, c1840
CONDITION:
The brass case and attractive bronzed lady retain old patinas, and there is a colorful little porcelain tablet on the base. The porcelain dial and thick beveled glass, in its beaded bezel, are fine. The time-only movement, with engraved initials, has a silk-thread pendulum and will need cleaning. Ht 10"
